Program for primary schools at the Anne Frank House
Pupils are prepared for a look behind the bookcase. Working with teaching aids specifically developed for this age range pupils learn about Anne Frank, the Second World War and the persecution of Jews.
Intended for: Year/group 6 (11 years old), max. 35 participants
Language versions: Dutch, English (minimum English level B1/B2 required), German.
Length: two hours, including tour of the House
Costs: € 40 for the programme, € 7 per child, € 16 for first, fourth, fifth & sixth (max!) companion. Second & third companion free. Including museum visit
Program for secondary schools at the Anne Frank House
Students are challenged to ask questions such as “choices made”, “helping” and “persecution” when looking at the Frank family’s story. Working with teaching aids specifically developed for this age range which include historic pictures and a concise timeline pupils learn about Anne Frank, the Second World War and the persecution of the Jews. The program can be adapted for different levels and age ranges in secondary education.
Intended for: young people from 12 to 18 in classes (all school types) or for instance confirmation classes. Max. 35 participants

For schools, it is possible to book one of the above mentioned educational programs in a shortened version. The duration of the program is 90 minutes including the museum visit, the cost is 40 euros. The Introductory program for schools is available with the starting times of 15:30 and 15:45 on weekdays.
